2023 Activation/Retention Campaign

The Activation/Retention campaign is designed to incent your cardholders to use their credit and/or debit card and earn a rebate.

  • Financial Institutions can choose to enroll credit and/or debit portfolios.

  • Targeted low active and inactive cardholders will receive a promotional offer during the promotion period encouraging card use, as well featuring benefits of the card.

Activation/Retention campaigns are designed to re-engage and reward your cardholders for using credit or debit card on qualifying purchases. Cardholders who are in good standing but low or non-users of their card will receive direct mail and/or email communications promoting your financial institution card and incenting them to use it during the promotion period.

Qualified targets and promotion offers include:

  • Inactive – 0 purchases in the past 90 days

  • $1 per transaction up to $20, with a minimum threshold of 5 transactions.

  • Low Users – 1-5 purchases in the past 90 days

  • $1 per transaction up to $10, with a minimum threshold of 5 transactions.

Delivery Channels

Financial Institutions can choose from the following marketing channel options:

  1. Direct mail (bi-fold mailer) only

  2. Direct mail (bi-fold mailer) with email reminder

  3. Email with email reminder
