Training for Success
PSCU’s commitment to credit union staff training helps our member-owners fully leverage the potential of their investment. A well-trained staff – who has acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies – helps to improve accuracy in daily operations, increase productivity and elevates employee empowerment. Most importantly, a well-trained staff is best prepared to service a credit union’s most important assets – the members.
The training resources within the CU Learning suite are effective in enhancing the performance of credit union staff. Several forms of training are available to choose from, the majority at no additional cost to the credit union.
- Self-paced Learning Modules: Interactive course content that is voice enhanced and very engaging for all learners. They can be accessed 24/7 through PSCU’s credit union learning portal, Momentum.
- Instructor-led Virtual Training Sessions: These distance learning courses are led interactively and take place over the Internet. Virtual training sessions are easy to schedule and eliminate the need for travel.
- Face-to-Face Instructor-led Training: Sessions are scheduled regularly around the country at host credit unions and at both of PSCU’s Florida and Arizona Service Centers.
- Card Operations and Service Analysis: Based on an in depth review of the credit union’s daily use of PSCU’s systems, a CU Learning Professional performs a comprehensive analysis and makes recommendations that help the credit union take decisive action and achieve results.
Credit Training
Credit Training provides PSCU Owner Credit Unions a wide variety of courses and training resources for effectively working with credit card operations tools, credit risk management and adjustment and settlement. Credit union staff can access learning materials online or in person with any of our certified learning professionals who are specially trained to help you meet business challenges and grow your credit card portfolio.
New Credit Manager
New Card Manager Training will bring your new employees up to speed quickly on the credit card operations tools they will use daily. Our certified learning professionals spend time working with your credit union on-site to provide new card manager training and ensure that your staff is ready to leverage our tools effectively.
Card Operations and Servicing Analysis (COSA)
Spot the gaps in your credit union’s card operations processes or reveal new ways to better utilize your current PSCU systems and programs with a Card Operations and Servicing Analysis. A PSCU CU Learning Professional can offer expert advice based on an in depth review of your use of PSCU’s card processing system(s) and then make recommendations to help your credit union achieve your desired results.
Debit Training
Debit training provides a wide variety of courses and training resources for effectively working with debit card operations tools, debit risk management and settlement. Credit union staff can take advantage of our comprehensive learning materials online or in person with any of our certified learning professionals who are specially trained to help you meet business challenges and debit portfolio growth objectives.
Prepaid Training
Prepaid training includes courses and training resources for effectively working with prepaid card operations tools for both prepaid gift and reloadable programs. Flexible training options include online training or onsite training with our certified learning professionals.
Bill Pay Training
Bill Pay training helps credit union staff understand and effectively use the Bill Pay operations tools. Training includes basics, features and functionality, payment processing, PartnerCare, reports and Business Bill Pay.
